Airsoft FAQ's

  1. Does airsoft hurt? Yes, but with the proper protection, players can easily make it less painful. 

  2. What should I wear? We recommend that you wear boots, jeans, and some layers for protection. 

  3. How old do you need to be to play? The minimum age to play airsoft is 10. 

  4. Are full face masks required? Full-face protection is required for all players under 18. Players over 18 can simply wear full-seal eye protection, though full-face protection is recommended. 

  5. How much does it cost? Airsoft costs vary depending on the location and day of the week current ticket prices can be found by clicking the ticket link.

  6. If I have a Groupon, how do I book? All you have to do is call, and we can help book you in.

  7. Do we need a reservation to play? If you have a Groupon or a large group, yes. If you are a self-equipped player, there is no need to make a reservation.

  8. Can I bring in my own food? Outside food and beverage is not permitted onsite.

  9. Do I need to do anything before arriving? Yes, you'll want to have your waiver completed, in addition to reading the rules and regulations.  

  10. Can I have alcohol onsite? No. Alcohol, smokeless tobacco, and Marijuana products are not permitted onsite.

  11.  Are there any specific FPS limits for airsoft guns? Yes, there are  In our Webster location 330 FPS (feet per second)  using .30 bb. And in West Warwick 350 FPS (feet per second) using .25 bb. Limits for airsoft guns are here to ensure safety.  (Please note we use our own bbs and chrono to determine FPS  measurement.)

  12. Can I bring my own airsoft gun and equipment? Yes, you can bring your own airsoft gun and equipment as long as they comply with the field's rules and regulations. It's important to ensure that your equipment meets ATSM safety  requirements and FPS limits. 

  13. Are there restrictions on the types of BBs allowed? Some airsoft fields may have restrictions on the types of BBs allowed to maintain a safe playing environment. Biodegradable BBs (up to .30) are  required for our Webster facility. In Our Warwick facility you can use regular or biodegradable (up to .25).

  14.  Can I use smoke grenades or pyrotechnics during gameplay? The use of smoke grenades or pyrotechnics during gameplay is not allowed here at Advanced Action Sports. 

  15. Are there referees or game marshals present during gameplay? Yes, here at Advanced Action Sports we have trained referees present to ensure fair play, enforce rules, and maintain safety on the field. They are responsible for overseeing gameplay and resolving any disputes that may arise. 

  16. Can I rent additional gear or equipment at the field? At Advanced Action Sports we offer gear and equipment rentals for players who do not have their own. It's recommended to inquire about rental options and availability in advance if you need additional gear. 

  17. What happens if it rains on the day of my reservation? In case of inclement weather, note Advanced Action Sports runs Rain Or Shine.

  18. How long does a typical airsoft game last? The duration of airsoft games run 8-10 minutes while special games can last longer. The game times will be announced during briefing. 

  19. Are there specific rules about surrendering or "taking hits" in airsoft? At Advanced Action Sports we are a high risk no surrender no close bang arena. We cover this in our game briefings.

  20. Can I bring spectators to watch the games?  Advanced action sports Spectators are allowed as long as they follow spectator rules and regulations provided by the field. It's important for spectators to stay in designated areas and not interfere with ongoing gameplay.
